Brand Tour: Blood Relative Meeting, Shamanism Worship and small Naadam festival

Day 1: Arrival and check into accommodation. Begin by a city tour of Ulaanbaatar including: Sukhbaatar square where you can see the statue of Chinggis khan, Gandan monastery and National Natural History Museum. You have free time for more sight-seeing and shopping. In the evening we have dinner in Mongolian BBQ restaurant.

Day 2: In the morning we will drive to the National Park of Khustai which is a world famous place for its successful reintroduction of Przewalski horses into the Parl. The park and its surrounding areas have much to offer for nature lovers. Hiking tour to explore Przewalski horses and the unique landscape of the park which features mountain steppe, sand dunes and river wetlands.

Day 3: After breakfast we will drive to Kharkhorin city, ancient capital of Mongolia founded in the 13th century, was ten times what you see today and instead of the 10500 monks now only 30 are in the monastery. In the late 1930s, the communists destroyed almost everything that existed. Fortunately the monks managed to save few things and only recently they could rebuild part of the monastery.

Day 4: Morning drive to Orhon river valley. Have lunch looking over beautiful scenery of small mountain rivers that offer excellent pastureland for the herds of horses and yaks. The next stop will be Orkhon river waterfall.
Accommodation: In the evening, the tent will be provided not too far from the waterfall.

Day 5: Drive to “Naiman Nuur” /eight lake/ which was created by volcanic eruptions centuries ago now is part of the 11.500 hectare Khuishyn Naiman Nuur Natural Reserve through Uvurkhangai province, visit a nomadic family who is only settled in Mongolia and set up tent in the river bank.

Day 6: Today we drive to Khotont territory of Uvurkhangai province. Blood relative meeting will be held there. This meeting contains around 200 relatives, brothers and sisters. Blood relative meeting is a big celebration that gives chance to know each other. You will visit there, we introduce their custom how they take care each other and their connection.
Accommodation: Stay at tourist camp.

Day 7: This day Mongolian people make Shamanism’s worship including: fire worship, land and water god worship and natural resource worship. Each worship wishes for peace, health and goodness.

Wishes for peaceful and united country and family.

Wishes for protection from natural disasters.
- Natural resource worship
Wishes for abundant natural resources such as fruit and herds……….etc
Then Naadam festival of territory will be held. Powerful wrestlers, the best horse racers and skillful archery participate and compete each other in this Naadam festival.

Day 8: This day we will drive to Ugii Lake which is rich in fish and migrant birds and beautiful lake. More than 150 types of rare birds dwell in and near the Lake Ugii. That’s why it is a place of special interests for researchers and naturalists. This lake is called the Birds of the lake. Comparatively a large number of birds migrate to spend summer at the Lake Ugii.

Day 9: Today we will drive back to UB and free time is provided for more sight-seeing of the city and shopping. The evening program will be Folk group performance followed by a dinner in one of the best restaurants of Ulaanbaatar.

Day 10: Departure date. Transportation to Chinggis Khan International Airport is provided for your departure.
